Adverb-Adjective Collocations ESL Activities
In this insightful adverb-adjective collocations speaking activity, students complete, ask and answer conversation questions containing useful adverb-adjective collocations. First, in two groups, students complete conversation questions containing adverb-adjective collocations with adjectives from a box. Next, students pair up with someone from the other group and take turns asking the conversation questions to their partner, who responds accordingly. For the first question in each set, students include the corresponding adverb-adjective collocation in their response. Finally, students share what they found out about their partner with the class.
